Breastfeeding Support

We often think that breastfeeding will be easy and uncomplicated. It's a natural process after all. But there are times when extra support can make all the difference during the early stages of learning to breastfeed. Most of us have not been around others learning to breastfeed. It is a skill and an art form that is as unique a process as childbirth. There are techniques that are helpful, and it is best learned with support. At the same time, each mom and baby have to find their own way with this experience.

I provide support at home so that you can learn the best way to nurse your baby in your own environment. I am not a Lactation Consultant and do not provide a diagnosis or medical assessment of either mother or baby. I do provide guidance and information based on my experience  working with many mothers and babies.

Newborn Care

The newborn time is like no other in a child and parent’s life. Babies at this stage are often unpredictable and very fluid in their needs and wants. If you have never been around a newborn they can be quite mysterious to figure out! I provide home visits to answer questions and help you get comfortable with your baby at this stage.

Fee

$45 an hour. Three or more sessions can be purchased for a 10% discount.
